Postby kslongrider » Sun Nov 05, 2017 9:38 am

We'll be at it again in 2018 on September 22nd starting at Bass River Resort and ending at Brushy Creek Lodge and Resort.

Please feel free to enter the ride or come join us on one of our trail work days to preview one of my favorite endurance ride trails in the country!! We'll post our trail work schedules here as we get closer to ride day.

Please coordinate your work days through the OTA. We have weekly sawyer reports and other mowing/trimming related reports from the summer crews and our volunteer base.
We waste lots of time going out after trees that were reported down only to find out someone came through and cut them clear.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim,
Where do we make contact at to coordinate our work days? Is there a link or a place on the Message Board?

Barry let's start here:

FYI - Sawyer work requires USFS certification.

You can always call the OTA office and begin coordination through there.

Abi can get you connected to the appropriate team.

Thank you Jim.

Will announcements for sawyer recertification classes be posted there? Mine has expired and I'd like to get recertified.

If you reach out to Abi at the office, she can assist. Mark G. is now doing recerts. He has a few lined up at end of Nov.
