Henderson Creek

Beavers have built a nice dam complex at Henderson Creek along the new Karkaghne section.  Here are some pictures from January 2002.  Click on the picture for a large for a full-size image.

	At its highest point, the dam is four feet tall.
	In most places, Henderson Creek is a few inches deep and a few feet wide.  In this picture you get an idea of the reservoir they've built.
	Remnants of a good beaver meal.  They eat the bark and these "bones" remain.
