About the Shuttle
The Ozark Trail Associations' shuttle service will serve a majority of the trail
heads within a twenty-mile radius from Johnson's Shut-Ins during the
peak trail seasons in spring and fall. Over 150 miles of trail will be
included in the shuttle service, including all of the Taum Sauk,
Middle Fork and Karkaghne sections of the Ozark Trail plus the Trace
Creek section from Council Bluff Lake south to the Highway A trail
head.
The shuttle also stops at the North Bell Mountain trailhead, the Council Bluff boat launch and at Brushy Creek Lodge to give trail users more trip options. |

How The Shuttle Works
The Shuttle is a convenient way to get between where you want to start and finish your trip.
Whether you are planning a short day hike, or a week-long adventure, we should have a Shuttle that meets your needs.
In making plans to use the Shuttle, we recommend that you park where you plan to finish your trip, have the shuttle pick you up, and be shuttled to where you want to begin.
This way, you can take as little or as much time as you need to enjoy yourself and get back to your vehicle.

Making Reservations
If you plan to make a reservation, we suggest you Create an Account and Sign In to complete the process.
Can't find a Shuttle that meets your needs. Please complete our Request Form. We can schedule Custom Shuttles once the regular schedule is complete on Saturday and Sunday for the normal cost. Specialized shuttles are available Monday through Friday. OTHER SHUTTLES ALONG THE TRAIL |
