The Ozark Trail Association is committed to
maintaining the confidentiality and security of all information
received from our members, trail volunteers, meeting attendees and
website visitors. We will not sell this information with any
third parties for any reason or purpose. We will not share
this information with any third parties for any reason or purpose
without your prior consent.
Types and Uses of Personal Information

Membership information- We collect your
name, address, phone and email address for the purpose of mailing
membership kits, newsletters and notification of Ozark Trail
Association events. We will not publish this information or
share this information with anyone for any reason or purpose.
If you do not wish to receive mailings, you may opt-out (see
instructions below).

Meeting registration & sign-in- We may
ask meeting participants to register in advance and/or register at
the meeting site. Registration is optional. Registration
information typically includes your name, address, phone and email
address. We use this information internally for planning
purposes and to notify you of upcoming events. We will
not share this information with any third parties for any reason or
purpose. If you attend board meetings, your name (only) will
be published in our meeting minutes.

Transactions- Purchases of caps, shirts,
maps and other material from the OTA are recorded in our sales
database for accounting, tax and shipping purposes only.
Authorized third-party agents may need your name and address for
shipping purposes. We do not otherwise share this information
with anyone for any reason or purpose. Any credit card
information is retained for 90 days and then destroyed.

Volunteer Outings- All volunteers must
sign a volunteer agreement prior to working on the Ozark Trail.
This information consists of your name, address, phone and your
signature. Volunteer agreements are forwarded to the land
owner/steward on which the work was performed. We record this
information in our database, along with the hours worked so that we
may track and manage volunteer efforts. We may use this
information to notify you of upcoming volunteer outings, although
you may opt-out of these mailings. We
will not share this information with anyone else for any other
purpose or reason.
