Volunteer on the Ozark Trail
Helping build, maintain or promote the Ozark
Trail is a rewarding experience-- you have the satisfaction of
working on a wonderful trail, and you make new friends in the
process. Ways you can help:
-
Work Parties- Help us build and maintain the Ozark Trail by
joining one of our work parties. No experience is required, no
tools are required, and you don't have to be particularly strong.
People of all ages are welcome, so bring your kids, grandparents--
even your dog. How do you sign up? Just show up! Check
out our current Work Parties here.
-
Adopt-A-Trail- There are over 300 miles of existing
trail, and it needs periodic maintenance. You and your friends
can adopt a section as short as three miles, then go on four outings a
year to trim back limbs and brush, remove small branches and
deadfall, and report major problems to the land steward. Sign
up information found here.
-
Become an Association Member- Help fund our outings, our
website and promotional material: $20/individual, $35/family,
$250/corporate. You can sign up
online! or complete our membership application.
-
Serve on the Board or Special Committee- Attend our monthly
board meetings or contact John
Roth for more information how you can make a difference.
We need assistance with the web site, promotional material,
donations, printing & distribution, and more.
