We’re heading to Hwy 21 trail head and heading up the OT towards Taum Sauk Mountain doing some tread restoration and maintenance.  This section of trail is in need of tread restoration so we’ll be working on that along with other maintenance issues.

What:  We will be doing tread restoration involving trail tools.

Need to know:  Be sure to wear sturdy boots, layering clothes as the weather can be weird.  Also bring a backpack to carry your water, snacks, your lunch and any thing else you would need on the trail.  We will be enjoying a meal at the end of the day in Ironton/Pilot Knob.
