Sa 04/20-21 – Spring Mega. — Sutton Bluff – Karkahgne GAOA tread rehab day
We’re heading to the MTNF Sutton Bluff campground on the Black River to give some loving to the Karkahgne section of the Ozark Trail. Free camping with availability to water and we have restrooms. Plan on arriving Friday night and stay the weekend.
The OTA will be providing dinner on Saturday evening after a day out on the trail along with a fun as always raffle and an awesome bonfire so be to bring those camp chairs’. The OTA will provide safety equipment and tools.
What to bring: An awesome attitude, camping gear, food for meals not provided, backpack for carrying your water, snacks, lunch, any items you would need, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. Plan your clothing needs by layers, the weather can be persnicketie. Pets are welcome but must be leashed within the campground and on the trail.
