April 10-12, 2026 OTA Spring Mega at Greer Springs Campground
We’ll continue building out the new spur TH for the western section of the 11 Pt towards
Banner Rd ( CTY RD 430).
We’ll have a similar setup at the Greer Springs Campground as last fall. Volunteers can begin arriving anytime Friday
We’ll have several group campsites reserved to be shared by volunteers. There will be camper sites available on a first come
first serve using the on site honor vault.
We’ll gather in the Day Use parking lot near the OTA Cook trailer setup at 8:15 am Saturday morning to carpool and get the pep talk.
The OTA will provide the traditional Saturday night cookout for everyone
Hi. I’m trying to find this location on Google maps but “Greer Springs Campground” doesn’t give me any results. Is this the same as “Greer Crossing Campground”? That is also on Eleven Point. Thanks!
Kevin, yes, Greer Crossing Recreation Area and Greer Crossing Campground are the correct names.
It says registration is closed for the event. Does that mean they don’t need any more volunteers?
No, it shows closed as we are trying to hone in on numbers to plan for tools, food and crews. You can still come…kathie
