SUMMARY:Aug 17-20 - Prep for 3-L-M Race
DESCRIPTION:We’ll be working on the Courtois Section from Onondaga Cave State Park Trail Head down to the Berryman Campground  and parts in between to get the course in shape for the inaugural 3 Legged Monster Adventure Race. \nWe will meet at BASS River Resort main gate at 8:30 am and disperse to the various locations where we need to do some trail cleanup. \nBring Sturdy work shoes ( hiking boots)\, long pants and be prepared for hot weather.\nBring a lunch. We’ll provide the gloves\, safety glasses\, helmets and tools. \nWe are still being covid cautious so if you have been exposed to covid\, been in a doctor’s office or hospital in the last 14 days prior to the event or you have symptoms consistent with covid please do not come out. \nBring Your own lunch and at least 2 liters of water. \nContact Terry Hawn if you need more information. \nthawn@prodigy.net \n314 920 6376

SUMMARY:3-Legged Monster Race Support
DESCRIPTION:We are so excited to present the first annual 3-Legged Monster Race and we need your help! This race will involve teams of two completing a 58 mile course that involves running\, mountain biking and paddling. We will base out of Bass’ River Resort and will provide free camping for OTA volunteers. Volunteers are needed for the following roles: \n\n2-3 volunteers at Courtois crossing/Huzzah CA runners’ aid station\n2-3 volunteers at Bass’ Resort aid station\n3 volunteers at Floyd Tower Rd/Berryman Trail intersection mountain bikers’ aid station\nMountain biking sweeper (32 miles)\nTrail running sweeper (13 miles)\nPaddling sweeper (13 miles)\n1-2 time keepers at Bass’ Resort\n1-2 time keepers at Ozark Outdoors\n\nIf you are interested in participating in the race or looking for more information visit: https://www.ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=85258
