SUMMARY:New OTA Crew Leader Training
DESCRIPTION:Yup!  It’s time to jump on the Crew Leader bandwagon as the OTA expands and grows with more construction and maintenance events.  The role of a Crew Leader is an important step in introducing and sharing your knowledge of trail construction and maintenance of the Ozark Trail. \nAugust 13-14\, 2022 — Saturday and Sunday \nThis is a 2 day event that will be based out of the OTA office in Potosi.  Day one is classroom instruction and the second day will be a field day reviewing what knowledge you gained from the day before.  Other details including the opportunity for a possible First Aid class to also be part of the training weekend.  Participants who are eligible should have at least 3 construction and or maintenance events under their hard hats. \nWe have limited bunk space at the OTA House that can accommodate 6 or so folks and there is of course camping in the back yard. \nMore information will be shared closer to the event.
