DESCRIPTION:This has become an annual event celebrating the cultural and historic areas surrounding the Current River\, a National Scenic Riverway.  The Ozark Trail Association\, while building the Upper Current section of the Ozark Trail\, spent a large amount of time learning about and discovering the area around the Current River.  We have shared information about the Ozark Trail and the OTA to a plethora of people.  Here is your chance to share your passion about the OT to visitors on Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm.  Contact Kathie for more information in regards to camping on Friday and Saturday nights as well as an opportunity to float on Sunday. DESCRIPTION:What: Conservation Day at the Capitol   Where: Missouri State Capitol   Date: April 6\, 2022    Time: 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.\nThis event is designed to bring conservationists from all across Missouri together at the Capitol for a day of promoting and supporting our natural resources and outdoor heritage.\nCFM has reserved the 3rd floor of the Rotunda and will have table spaces available for up to 25 affiliate organizations. The event is both educational and informative. We hope citizens and legislators alike will tour the affiliate booths to learn about the diverse outdoor passions of Missourians. Citizens will have a chance to meet with their legislators and thank them for protecting conservation in Missouri.\nThe Morning Shag with Shags and Trevor of KCMQ 96.7 will be broadcasting their popular morning show live from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. A limited number of tables and space is available and the OTA will have a table. \nBe sure to sign up and let Kathie know when you are arriving to meet up for the day.  kathie.brennan55@gmail.com

DESCRIPTION:Come on out visit the OTA both and learn al about what we are doing on the Ozark Trail. \nOur Springfield Missouri contingent is again hosting a booth at this wonderful outdoor series hosted by Missouri’s own Bass Pro company. \nWhen and Where \n\nFriday\, November 5; 2 PM – 6 PM\nSaturday\, November 6; 10 AM – 5 PM\nThe Packet Pick-Up location is at the John A. and Genny Morris Conservation Center\,  600 W. Sunshine\, Springfield\, MO 65807 \nPacket pick up takes places during our 2021 Marathon Weekend Expo! There will be approximately 50 vendors with us for the weekend\, so plan to take a few minutes to walk through and get some good information. Fleet Feet\, Wonders of Wildlife\, Bondi Band and Essential Oil of Springfield have been past vendors with us.
