DESCRIPTION:The event date has changed — The actual event has been moved to Sept 14 from Sept 21\, 2024 — so we will do some prep a couple days prior in case we haven’t got it all done. \nSept 12-13th\, 2024– One Eyed Dog MTB Race PREP — Council Bluff Lake \nWe’ll meetup at the DD/Hwy 32 Trail Head parking lot at 9am.  We’ll have tools\, weed eaters\, chainsaws \, blowers and loppers to put the finishing touches on the course for race day.\nWear sturdy work shoes ( preferably hiking boots) \, long pants and weather appropriate shirt. DESCRIPTION:Whooohooo!  Let’s head to our most memorable place ever…Current River SP is located on the Current River\, a National Scenic River.  We will be staying at the old Alton Box Resort in the historic building that has housed many a person who have immersed themselves in this area of the Ozarks.  Housing is first come but camping will be available.  Come for the day or stay a day or two giving back to a trail we are passionate about.  We will have a day of trail maintenance and then return to CRSP for dinner and more fun with a raffle\, fellowship and as always blazing bonfire under a star filled filled sky! \nYou will need to be prepared for the weather\, bring your camping gear and a kindred spirit!

Plan on arriving Friday night and stay the weekend. \nThe OTA will be providing dinner on Saturday evening after a day out on the trail along with a fun as always raffle and an awesome bonfire so be to bring those camp chairs’.   The OTA will provide safety equipment and tools. \nWhat to bring:  An awesome attitude\, camping gear\, food for meals not provided\, backpack for carrying your water\, snacks\, lunch\, any items you would need\, sunscreen\, bug spray\, etc.  Plan your clothing needs by layers\, the weather can be persnicketie. DESCRIPTION:Sa 02/03 – OT Maint TBD \nWe’ll be on the OT doing tread work — MiddleFork or Trace Creek. \n  \nWhere: The OTA House  is we are basing out of this weekend. It is located on 406 West High St. The house is just west of the 4-way stop at the Court House — this s Hwy 8 directly across from the Hwy 185 intersection. \nHousing/camping: You can stay over at the OTA House either camping in the yard or we have some limited sleeping space for 3 or 4 people in the house. \nWhat to bring: Camping gear if you are camping in the yard) personal care items(there is a shower)\, food other than what the OTA is providing dinner on Saturday. DESCRIPTION:We’re celebrating National Trails Day on June 3 by getting out and doing some TLC on the OT. \nRESCHEDULED OTA Spring 2023 MEGA – — Join Us for the OTA’s 49th Mega at Bass River Resort \nSame as before complete with all the fun of a MEGA!  Free camping\, BBQ\, attendance prizes and the always awesome bonfire to end the evening.  Weather looks good so bring everything necessary to be out on the trail to do some maintenance\, backpack\, BUG SPRAY\, water\, lunch and snacks\, wear long pants\, sturdy footwear as we’ll supply the rests of the PPE.  If you have a favorite pair of gloves bring them as well.  It will be a short drive to the work place and a short walk in.  Regisatration is Friday on the deck at Bass till 9 pm\,  Be sure to check in before heading to the campsite.  Watch for the green arrow signs.  Any questions\, contact Kathie at 573-382-8270\, \n  \n[/fusion_tre details as soon as we get things readyext]
