SUMMARY:Oct 7-9 OTA Fall Mega - Come Out and help Celebrate our 48th Mega
DESCRIPTION:Join the OTA as we  close in on our 20th Anniversary by Celebrating yet another Mega — the 48th. \nLets make this a very Special Mega and do something Exraordinary on the OT. \nWe’re closing in on several milestones in the history of the OT and OTA over the next year and this event \nwill kickoff a series of very special times for everyone involved in the OTA Past\, Present and Future. \nWe’re at Bass River Resort — camping is provided free. We’ll have our traditional Saturday evening cookout and bonfire. \nWe’ll be doing GAOA Trail rehab so be prepared to get dirty and laugh a lot. \nYou can checkin at Bass starting Friday afternoon at their main building. There might be a checkin at their front gate.. You’ll need to provide your name ( along with names of those in your group .. Bass has a checklist of those who signed up) and car license. You will get a car tag to place in your window for Bass Security.

DESCRIPTION:Our tradition continues as we celebrate Fall in Winona. We’ll be doing more GAO work on the southern sections \nincluding a day or 2  down on the Norfork Section.  Lots of TLC needed down south. \nWe’ll be in the USFS Winona facilities so we’ll have beds\, bathrooms and kitchens to do some \nproper Whoopin It Up!! in our favorite location. Camping on the grounds  is available to those wish to camp. \n  \nRemember — we’re finishing our 20yr year as the caretakers of the Ozark Trail — lets do it BIG!! \nCome down for the Weekend or the whole thing — we want young and old alike to have a very special Winona event. \nWe’re still be covid cautious but hopefully we’re past the worst covid has to give. \nWe’ll post a few more details as we get closer to the event so be on the lookout as the date gets closer. \n

DESCRIPTION:The OT100 Endurance Run is a premier running event with participants coming in from all over the country. \nLooking for Volunteers to get and leaf blow\, clear trees and groom the trail and man the OTA Aid stations. \nIf you are an OT Adopter on the northern 100 miles  make a special effort to get out during October to clear the trail \nand get sawyers out to cut down trees so the runners can get through the trail without swimming through tree tops. \nStay tuned as we will post additional info as needed as we get closer to the event \n  \n

SUMMARY:Oct 29-30 - OT100 Endurance Run - Aid Station Support
DESCRIPTION:In support of the actual event .. We have aid stations that will need from 4-6 volunteers each at  the following locations \nKarkahgne at Stillwell Hollow ( Kathie Brennan is the station Captain) \,  early morning setup around 7am- 2pm \nMiddlefork  at Gunstock Hollow ( Terry Hawn is the station Captain) \, midmorning setup around 9:00am – till 4PM \nTrace Creek at Martin Road (  John Polohan is the station Captain) —  early evening setup around 3pm into 11 pm \n*** These have been the OTA member captains the last 3-4 years so the names could change– but this is just  for reference for now. \n***  If they change – we’ll post the updates \nthere may be other stations that will need to be manned as well so mark your calendars — you will have a grand experience. \nFrom Cty Rd 862 just north of Hwy 72 on the southern end of the Karkahgne all the way to Bass River Resort.
